If it is a new claim for Housing Benefit<\/a> ‘only’ you should apply through your local council. Use the same process for any new claims even if you already receive other benefits.<\/p>\n

Applying for other Benefits at the Same Time<\/h2>\n

A claim for Housing Benefit can also be part of an application for other benefits and allowances. But, the type of benefit you are claiming for will determine how to apply for Housing Benefit payment.<\/p>\n
