Twitter (X) has a 280-character limit. Emojis count as two characters each and links count towards 23 characters no matter its original length. This social media platform’s posts should start with a hook, a brief message, and a call to action. If you want followers to read more about the subject, link to a blog post to provide more information. 

For Instagram, it’s best to break up content with emojis or line breaks so it’s scannable. A few lines max per paragraph can enhance readability. 


Use a Consistent Brand Voice

Consistency is key when running a social media page. Hence, the brand voice should be the same from post to post. If you have multiple social media platforms, ensure the brand voice is the same across them all.

A professional voice is best for B2B brands while lifestyle brands can adopt a more friendly and approachable voice. If you have a younger audience, a more quirky and humorous tone can keep them engaged
