Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Non-domestic

Non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) schemes provide government payments to help with installation costs of renewable heat technologies for businesses, the public sector, and non-profit organisations within the United Kingdom.

The different types if heating that you can claim for include;

Payments are made through the Non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme over a period of 20 years and based on the heat output of your system.

Are You Eligible?

You may be eligible to apply if your equipment was installed on or after 15 July 2009 in England, Scotland, or Wales. However, your equipment must meet certain requirements. There is also a scheme to help with installing renewable heating for those who live in Northern Ireland.

How to Apply

  2. Create an account on the Ofgem website and provide information about your installation online
  3. Send Ofgem evidence to support your application
  4. Ofgem will accredit your installation, or reject your application and tell you why
