TUC Failing British Workers

The United Kingdom Independence Party is also known as 'The Listening Party for Democracy'. UKIP claims the Trades Union Congress (TUC) no longer cares about, or represents, British workers.

UKIP LAMBASTS TUC: In particular, it was a female UKIP MEP.

She slanted the TUC General Secretary for supporting Britain’s continued membership of the European Union.

She was also reported to have said:

“Britain’s unions have shown their allegiance to the multinational companies who make money from cheap labour in Britain provided by the EU.”

TUC Should Fight for Brexit

The United Kingdom Independence Party representative also questioned the situation. Should the Trades Union Congress be fighting for Brexit if they were really on the side of the British worker? To prove a point she then went on to say:

There can be no clearer example than the steel workers across England and Wales. They are unemployed because of the rules and regulations of Brussels. Not to mention green taxes, the emissions directive and the European Commission controlling state aid.”

“They don’t even care about their own members’ jobs and wages. The impact of mass low skilled immigration on the UK is felt most by the poorest and weakest in society on low paid jobs or looking for work.”

“The Bank of England study makes it clear that job security and wages are being kept down for millions as a result of migration. Unions were the ultimate grass roots organisation. Now they are about feathering their own nests.”

UKIP 2015 Manifesto

The United Kingdom Independence Party manifesto says it presents the people of Britain with an incredible opportunity. For the first time in 100 years, there is real change on the horizon.

UKIPAll you have to do is vote for it. Political party manifestos are usually filled with arbitrary, over-ambitious targets and pledges to some special interest group here or there. UKIP is different!

UKIP is the party for you:

  • If you believe that we are big enough to make our own laws, in our own parliament.
  • If you believe we should have the sovereign right to control our own borders.
  • If you believe that we should be fiscally responsible, and stop adding to our national debts and expecting our children and grandchildren to pay the bill.

The major issues of the day are immigration, the economy, our health service and living standards. The establishment parties have repeatedly and knowingly raised the expectations of the public. But, they let us down, time and time again.

In many ways, this is where UKIP came from. A feeling that successive governments were no longer representing the will of the British people. Now, there is something to vote for, if you believe in Britain.

Nigel Farage MEP says we should seize the opportunity for real change in our politics. We should rebalance power from large corporations and big government institutions. Put it back into the hands of the people of this country, then there really is only one choice.
